Atelier Pedro Falcão

Pedro Falcão is a portuguese designer that lives and works in Lisbon. He started at Secretonix as a graphic designer in 1995 till 2005 and in the next year he founded the Atelier Pedro Falcão. Since then, he has taught Editorial Design in the course of Multimédia and Graphic Design at Restart and won several nacional and internacional awards. In the same year (2006), Pedro was the graphic director of Jornal dos Arquitectos, winning a  Merit Award in the category Magazine Layout at the Ed-Adwars in 2007. In 2009, he made part of the architecture team for MUDE (Museu do Design e da Moda in Lisbon), together with the portuguese architects Ricardo Carvalho and Joana Vilhena, to do the graphic design layout for the opening of the museum also in 2009. Pedro has worked with some fine artists such as Luisa Cunha, Rui Chafes, Rui Sanches, Jorge Molder among others, and for some institutions like Culturgest, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Centro Cultural de Belém, Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, Ordem dos Arquitectos, Elipse Foundation, Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves and Fundação Mário Soares.
